hello everyone,
i own IBM stock, and am planning to buy one through the stock holders program. i was reading about the eligibility on IBM's website, and it mentioned something about a "Shareholder Offer ID."
What exactly is this? how would I go about getting one? I don't think i've ever received anything about this from IBM even though i own the stock.
thanks.

You can order by phone here: 1-800-520-7304 or by web here:

I would guess that they can give you a shareholder ID number if you call by phone. The website doesn't seem to answer the question of where to get a number.
