lcd's display portion is slanted..

my lcd's display is kinna slanted to the left, as in there is more black edge (.5 mm) on my top left conner than on the right.

in my big crt, there is menu on the monitor itself to correct the display position, but there are none for the thinkpad's lcd.

is there anyway i can fix this? or is it a lcd's defect?
