Suggestions for T23

Hi,
Can someone suggest a good model in T23 that I can get under $800? Here are my requirements

>1Ghz, 512 MB, sxga+, wifi upgradable, >30GB, W2K.

Also, can you let me know where I can get the best deal for T23s

I nice model that I got on ebay was a T23 2647-9NU. It has the following specs:

1.2ghz PII M
512mg ram
SXGA Screen
Wi-fi
48gb hd.

I paid $850 for it but it came a wreck. Luckily I anticipated this and purchased:

- a new palmrest for $25
- Keyboard $35
- LCD top cover with bezel $50
- new battery $40
- Ultrabay battery $60-
- DVD-R Burner Ultrabay 2000 $110.

Total: $1170 for a brand new T23 with Multiburner.

Now its like brand new and still has 6mths warranty left.

I am going to upgrade the warranty through IBM for $200 to 5 yrs which will bive me another 2.5 yrs of warranty on it.

If you look around you can find them for between $750 - $900 but beware of scammers. Also make sure it has a warranty and ask for the sn so you can call IBM and inquire if its stolen and the service records of the machine.

I upgraded the ram to 1GB so if you need 2x 256 modules for a total of 512 let me know. I will let them go for $80.
