You have a T43, NOT a T43p.

I don't think so. It looks as if Lenovo is trying to clear out old stock to make way for the T60s.
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!

That's actually a pretty nice powerhouse. 9-cell battery, fingerprint reader, Bluetooth, 1 GB RAM (1 slot open), DVD recorder (MultiBurner?) ... and I also rather like the 14" 1400x1050 screen, over a 15" 1600x1200 one. There isn't much you would want to upgrade on that. (Well, I'd suggest a docking station, and maybe an Ultrabay battery.)

Marked down from $3200 to $2000 is indeed a nice price.
2668-75U T43, 2GB RAM, 2nd hand NMB kybd, Dock II, spare Mini-Dock, and spare Port Replicators. Wacom BT tablet. Ultrabay 2nd HDD.
2672-KBU X32, 1.5GB RAM, 7200 rpm TravelStar HDD.
