When I boot my T42 it gets to this point before getting the Windows logon screen where it’s checking the status of the embedded security chip. Sometimes it can take several minutes to get passed this point and to the windows logon screen. I tried seeing if it made any difference if i was connected to a wall socket but it doesn't seem to make much difference.
The whole security stuff that my T42 came with is something I don't think I need for any real purposes. Is their a way for me to uninstall these options so I don't get the "checking the status..." when I boot up? It can get frustrating waiting for it to do its thing for several minutes.
Thank You all in advanced.
Roberto
