Keyboard and chassis protectio

#1 Post by bilalmuddassir » Tue Mar 28, 2006 9:16 pm

Is there any material I can

1. put between the keyboard and LCD to protect one from fiddling with the other.

2. paste on top of the chassis to prevent scratch

Yup

1.) Something along the lines of a ShaggyMac protector or just a piece of A4 8.5"x11" paper will do

2.) I don't know about that; the only thing I can think of is a laptop sleeve, not quite sure what you mean.

I will check the Shaggy thing. The other thing was some kind of transparent cover (not adhesive though) that can cling to the outside surface of the lid and prevent scratches. I am not sure if it is needed i.e. if the outside of lid is scratch proof.

The outside of the lid is definitely not scratch proof! In fact, the paint is rather delicate. Definitely look in to getting a sleeve or something similar.

A ShaggyMac protector is also a great idea; I'm looking for something similar myself, as my keyboard has already managed to put some ugly gouges in the screen. Yuck.
