What is consedered a load fan noise ?

How silent are theset T43's suppose to be ? cause not exactly sure what to look for. On one hand it feel like its running silent but on the other when everything around me is quiet offcourse i can hera the fan. Is that not suppose to happen?

The fan noise varies from model to model; largely, it is a matter of user preference.With the Fan Control Utility (See Sig for link), you can pretty much get any behavior out of the fan you want with almost all of the modern Thinkpads.
