Fn+F4 != Standby

#1 Post by r1ckchard » Tue Apr 04, 2006 6:49 pm

I'm not quite sure what triggered this but both Fn+F4 and Fn+F12 have the same function, that function being Hibernate. Anyone know how to get Fn+F4 back to standby?

Check the advanced tab in Power Options Properties. You may have change the power button labeled "When I press the sleep button on my computer:".

It should say "Stand by"

If yours says "hibernate," then that's why Fn+F4 is invoking hibernation.
