Nice... It's been a while since there has been so much excitement about bags!!

Ok well here are my two cents...

I use a powersleve 12 for my X31... i like it, great quality bag. Only worry I have - can't hold a power bar, - not really formal looking enough for a business meeting.

Other than that great bag... and check out ebay for some nice deals! I got mine new for half the retail price!

Booq PowerSleeve rocks. I have the 14" version for my T42. It fits like a glove! I did wish it was totally black with a more "executive" look, though. Oh well, you can't have it all...

I concur about the Powersleeve. I've just "improved" mine by making an insert out of corrugated vinyl signboard. It provides more rigid protection for the screen like the Bihn Brain Cell.

I've been using a Case Logic sleeve. It's just a $20 neoprene skin with a zipper, exactly the size of my T41. I thow that into whatever bag I'm using that day--for a couple of months I've been using a backpack, for a while it was a bike messenger's bag--whatever.

Does the power brick fit in it??
(in the front accessory pocket)??

I am sorry to ask, but I have heard as many people say that the power brick fits in the Powersleeve as have said that it does not.

In the powersleve 12" verion the small 56 W power brick will barely fit when sqeezed in but it will fit. It looks hideous though and I only tried it once to see if it woudl work. Personally I would not use that pocket to transfer the brick, graet for disks usb keys etc...

The 14" might be mroe foregiving since the pocket is bigger.

Well, after considering everything, I just ordered a Marware Sportfolio 1, seen at:
http://64.127.106.220/cgi-bin/WebObject ... bb8tvGgYOw

I just did not like the vertical (portrait) orientation of the Booq Powersleeve, and think that this Marware case/sleeve will be the lightest for just putting under my arm.

You can fit the power brick into the 14" PS. However, you won't be able to fit in anything else other than maybe a usb flash disk.

I bought the PowerSleeve with maximum portability in mind. So I did not take the power brick into consideration. If you are going to bring so many accessories, it defeats the minimalist approach of the PS.

It looks like a tank!
It is the polar opposite of what I am looking for in a notebook bag.

Has anyone pictures of the Caselogic NPE1 EVA Shuttle? Does the power supply (in case of need) fit in the upper small compartment? I wouldn't mind a little bulge in the case since I usually don't carry the AC adapter with me.
Thanks

Anyone have the Tumi Computer Sleeves? I'm thinking about getting one in black but it does seem a tad bit bigger than my T42 15" w/ 9-cell battery. My Pelican does get a bit bulky sometimes. I've read all the other threads and reviews on the Shinza's, TimBuk2's, Sumdex's, etc so.

Tumi Large Computer Sleeve:
http://www.tumi.com/products/index.cfm? ... tegoryid=0

I've also considered the Booq Vyper (I like the Tumi better in terms of look and feel though) and the IBM ThinkPad Office Executive because of the extra pockets without the overall weight and heft (looks good too).

Booq Vyper:
http://www.booqbags.com/Search.bok?cate ... word=vyper

IBM ThinkPad Office Executive:
http://www-132.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/store ... Id=8719207

I've thought about the Booq Powersleeves but it just looks too busy and I'm not too fond of shoulder straps and large flaps.

Edit: Sorry, didn't see that the Office Exective was for X-Series. I thought it was just an IBM branded version of the Elecom sleeve.

CAUTION!!!

THIS BAG IS HUGE!!!

the strap, first of all, is very long even at it's shortest (even though it is the most comfortable strap i've ever used...). When empty, the front flap is very llarge... and can't really be compressed. When full, it is half as wide as it is tall... and hard to manage.

maybe just IMO, but i can't stand it (but it dose provide decent protection...)

My local reseller only carries the Booq PowerSleeve 15. Does anyone have this model? Will the T43 14" fit securely in this bag?
