Problems with installing new bios and Embedded cp on t40...

Hi,
I have T40 and winxp. Bios 3.00c and Ecp 2.03.
Now I want to install the newer versions of it but it wont work, it just restarts without any updates. Normally bios-updates worked. I also tried other versions than the latest, but also not one wants to update...and i dont have a disc drive...
any1 knows this problem ?

You should install ECP first. Also make sure your battery is fully charged, and the TP is not attached to a Dock, and no USB, PC card is connected to the TP.

thanks. but unfortunatly i have all done this. in the meantime i could upgrade my ecp to Version 3.00. But now again i can neither ecp or bios upgrade....
probably because they say on the ecp readme that every higher version of the ecp needs a bios 3.04a or higher. and i cant install that. in the biosreadme they say that i need the higher ecp versions to run...

any1 with an idea ?

or anyone knows how i burn the bios-disc-version to a bootable cd ? is it possible ?

Roll back to an earlier version, then try to install one of the latest versions again.
