Logi7, he's got a FireGL 9000 with 64MB vram. I had a T40p also. I ran the COD demo and it seemed to work fine (of course, this isn't the same as running the full version).

I'd start out by making sure you have the latest drivers and DirectX9 installed. Then make sure you use the lowest settings in COD, since the FireGL 9000 won't support most of the advanced graphics options. Also, there are a couple OpenGL options you can change under DisplayProperties|Settings|Advanced|Confguration. You might want to experiment (there aren't very many options, so you'll be able to run through various combinations fairly quickly).

The last thing you can try is to use the Omega Drivers or other modded ATI Catalyst drivers and install them on your T40p. The performance increase in games is marginal at best, but the benefit of using modded drivers really is the compatibility with games aspect.

Good luck.

Daniel.

I played COD on my Radeon 7500 without any problem (on 800x600). As it was mentioned above, use either the Omega Driver or Patje's mobility modder. See our FAQ question 20/21 for more info.
