reinstall finger print security
reinstall finger print security
How do I re-install the IBM fingerprint security software? I have already uninstalled it due to some bug error it kept popping up after each reboot.
I have the 7 discs (cd's) that they sent me a while ago, the recovery discs.
Thinkpad T42p
Model: 2373
Also, what is the proper way to have the IBM go into hibernate (power save mode) WITHOUT disconnecting the wirelss connection? Any tips on modifying the built in Intel wireless card to live up to my Belkin Pre-N router?
Thanks in advance.

Re: reinstall finger print security
Its probably on your ThinkPad already somewhere, but you can download the drivers from IBM and reinstall them.Chadi wrote:How do I re-install the IBM fingerprint security software?
Since Hibernate involves a complete shut down of the OS, there is no other answer than "you can't do that".Also, what is the proper way to have the IBM go into hibernate (power save mode) WITHOUT disconnecting the wirelss connection??
Cheers,
Bill
