T41 in a Dock I?

I need a docking station for my Thinkpad T41, so I checked out ebay. The Dock II (model 2877-10U) is almost $200 while the dock I (model 2631) is about $50. Has anyone had sucess with using a thinkpad t41 in a 2631 series dock? Thank you very much for your help.
