How to check the LCD manufactory?

As some one mentioned, some of the laptop use ID Tech LCD, others use Samsung LCD. How to check then?

From what I have read............the only way to be sure of which LCD display is to remove it (Your choice) and check the part code:

Mine comes up as 93P5571. Anybody know which manufacturer this is?

Also when I used the auto detect feature, it says the LCD is not IBM serviceable, does this mean thw LCD is not covered under the 3yr warranty?
