Access Connections and Adhoc

I have just installed access connections but when i try to configure some of my network connections and need to create and Adhoc wireless connection i can only chose Infrastructure from the drop down list.
I have ensure i uncheck the 'Disable adhoc connections in the wireless lan profiles' option under global settings.
Any ideas why i still cant create an adhoc connection, it works fine if i use window to manage it?

My mistake, need to reboot for the unchecking of disable Adhoc to take effect
