T40 HD bay question

#1 Post by findrivr » Thu May 25, 2006 2:45 pm

I'm considering a move up fr/my T22 to a T40; my question is whether or not the T40 HD bay will accept [and run] my old HD out of my T22. I would rather do the swap vs. imaging the new drive since I recently upgraded my T22 w/ a relatively new 60 gb Seagate.
Any info or links would be appreciated.
Thanks.

T4x internal drive bay takes drives of max height 9.5mm -- if your old drive is 12mm, you're out of luck.

T22 use a 9.5 mm high drive so no problem to swap between T22 and T40. I do a swap to transfert data from a T23 to a T41p, it works well.
