Hi.
If I leave my t43p on for many hours, when I try to login again (ctrl alt can) nothing happens.
Something really weird is that I can still press Fn-F4 and put the laptop on standby and resume it with no problem, but again I cannot login in using ctrl alt canc or sweeping my finger.
The only way to login is press ctrl alt canc, wait few minutes until the screen saver kicks in again and press ctrl alt canc again. Then the logon screen appears again.
Instead, if the t43p is idle for about one hours (lunch break) this never happens.
Any clue? I'm suspecting the IBM addon software that deals with fingerprints. Maybe since it's not the original Microsoft binary it has problem running when the CPU is under heavy usage (maybe the task doesn't have high enough priority).
thanks,
alfonso
