T42 Memory Upgrade and Hi-Capacity Battery

I just ordered the T42 and have been curious about features and upgradability.

I ordered the Hi-Capacity battery and a Corsair 333mhz 512mb chip.

Are there any compatability issues with memory chips?

I figure the PC2700 DDR SODimm should run fine with what IBM sends.

Are there any issues regarding the use of the battery - and how to condition it?

1. insert RAM
2. insert new battery
3. charge battery for a couple of hours (not really necessary because mine came with at 96% capacity)
4. ENJOY!!
