T23 XGA screen vs. T4x XGA screen ?

Hello,

In my search of previous threads, I noticed one opinion that the T40 screen was clearer and brighter than the T23 screen, even when both were the same size and resolution.

Has anyone else done this comparison and what is your opinion on the subject ?

T40 is better

My first thinkpad was a T23 xga and my opinion is that the screen loks the same as the screen of my T40 when it did have the xga.

I replace the xga on my T40 to sxga + and that one looks much better.
