speeding up PC games

I understnad that - tragically - I am unable to update the graphics card on my T42. However, i was wondering if anyone knew of any ways i could get my card or laptop to run more efficiently with Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion?

Do you know that you can upgrade to a 128mb video motherboard?

Oblivion 4 on t42/p and t43/p = forget about it.

Well, if you want to know how to make Oblivion run better here is a guide:

But like others have said, T42s and ThinkPads in general are not meant for high-end gaming.

Running Oblivion on a T42 is like running Quake III on a 286 system.

nope I didn't know this. Is this correct? Can you provide me any links to more info?

To be honest Oblivion is working OK as long as i keep the resolution real low. so if i can update the MBoard, i'll be able to run at 1024, which is the definition on my Plasma. So that'll be nice.
