Hard Drive Capacity

Hi guys,

I have in my IBM T40 a Samsung MP0402H 40GB hard drive. It even says so in the device manager.

So, why is it that when I right click on Local Disk (C) in My Computer, I get used space as 5GB, and free space as 15GB?

That makes it out as if it is a 20GB HDD in here, but I've took it out and checked, and it is in fact a 40GB disk.

Could someone please tell me why I am missing 20GB of disk space, and how can I fix this?

You can get a better idea what you actually have by going to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management.
