Booting a T43 from PCMCIA?

#1 Post by netguardianii » Wed Jun 14, 2006 12:22 pm

Has anyone ever succeeded in doing this?

I've got a 2686-M7U. Under the BIOS Setup (gotten by pressing F1 at boot-time) > Startup, There is an option to boot from "PCI LAN MBA Slot 0200." Does this refer to the card slot device?

No, it refers to the Local Area Network ethernet card.

The only ThinkPad I ever had that would do that was a TP240, and it had a most specialized CD with PCMCIA plug. Any other CD would not do. I have not seen a TP since that would do that. ... JD Hurst
