I was wondering if anyone can help me retrieve the hidden partition on my harddrive. i have a t40 237394u, which has a 80 gig hard drive, but i only see 45 gigs available. I do want to use rescue and recovery, but i will put that on an external drive to help me just in case i need to recover. I would appreciate some step by step instructions or a way to get it done. i do have norton system works 2005 that has norton ghost, but that is not enabled. i don't have recovery disks, but i can either make them or purchase them according to the posts i have read. any help would be greatly appreciated by a fellow thinkpad user.
thank you and apologies if this is a post that has popped up again

You can reallocate space between partitions, including deleting any partitions you do not want.
PartitionMagic (now a Symantec product) is the software of choice for such operations. A free alternative is here:

Good luck!
