You asked for Targus - it might be useful for you to learn about Google - I live in France and Google gave me thousands of links to Targus - this one, for instance, shows stockists in the UK - I'll be in London next week, so if you need me to actually go and get it for you, just drop me a line... http://www.targus.com/global/reseller.asp?countryid=75

PS - Sorry, I wasn't clear - I am visiting Hounslow, which is where their head office (UK) is...

I didn't know Targus before your post - as they're so near to where I'll be, I'll visit - the nylon-type bags they have look neat and not too expensive.

When I bought my T21 from a second hand laptop place here in Toulouse, they threw in a really useful (Dell !) briefcase with a well designed/protected inner sleeve for the laptop, and about 300 pockets and flaps all over the place - this has a handle, and a removeable strap and it also fits my T42 like a glove. The only problem for me, is that it LOOKS like a briefcase, and there are occasions when I'd like it to be more annonymous - I remember years ago walking around east
London to photograph certain areas I used to carry my camera gear around in Tescos bags - never had any hassle - 2 Hasselblads and a Nikon or two !!

I'll report later when I've seen them

I am surprise you guys there do not knew Targus. In the States, all the stores are invaded with them and by just going into mayor retailers here (Office Depot, Staples, Best Buy, Circuit City, Office Max, Micro Center, etc...) I get the impresion that they may well have 60% of the US market on laptop bags (also other accesories).

At naked eyed, they appear of good-to-great quality, but no eye-caching or that you will love as you do a thinkpad... i.e. I would recomend any of their products anytime.
X220t IPS but but a bit unhappy with it
T60p 2007-93U 1600x1200 IPS (T42p is an overall better machine though. Lack of new IPS Thinkpads keeps me buying these older models!)
T42p 2373-KXU 1600x1200 IPS (The best ever!!)
A20p 2629-6UU 1400x1050 (My first Thinkpad!)
