Different dualview resolutions possible?

#1 Post by Chacal » Sun Aug 08, 2004 2:44 pm

How the dualview functionality works with T42p using FireGL T2? I have now 19" normal CRT and I'd prefer using it with 1280x1024 @ 85Hz. Of course I'd like to use the natural resolution of 1400x1050 of the 14" TFT of the T42p. Is this kind of setup possible in Win XP? Or am I restricted to use the same resolution for both displays?

I believe that if you want the same siplay on both - you must use the same resolution. If you want an extended desktop - different diplays on each - then you can select the resolution for each one.

You can change the resolution for both just look in the display options. It shows two different displays numbered 1 and 2...just click on them each and adjust it.

Does anyone know of a way to get two completely seperate desktops on different monitors?

Yep. What I want is exactly the extended working area so that I have maximum workspace. So if I understood correctly, this shouldn't be a problem.
