ThinkVantage

#1 Post by citimeta » Mon Jun 19, 2006 9:46 pm

I have an old T41p machine and I wonder if I can get the ThinkVantage software suite just like those new machines. Say, I don't have 'power manager' etc. Also, I'm having trouble using 'system update' utility. It always tells me that it can't connect to server.

Anyone has any idea?

I assume you mean a T41p. Yup, just go to the IBM/Lenovo support site and download then run the software installer; it should take it from there. :)

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

What type of service do you use to connect to the internet?

Maybe dial up? :?

Then you can download it from the Support site; as far as I know, everything you can get from the Software Installer you can download manually. If it doesn't pick it up, it means that it is either a manual-install only or not supported for that model.
