where to get ATI 7500 powerplay tool?

#1 Post by hamoudi » Tue Jun 20, 2006 2:39 pm

hi guys,

im using this NHC to reduce heat dissepation and i underclocked the ATI 7500 but i think it didnt work that much....same temp as before!
ive been reading in some threads that stated that reducing the clock and memory ONLY wont make any difference, one should reduce the power itself using some ATI tools.

i looked in internet but couldnt find the powerplaytool, anyone could give me the link to it???
does the ATI 7500 have such power management tools??

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

i think only the latest pci-express graphic card support powerplay, if not then you need to use ATI Tool

my Firegl T2 (AGP) definitely supports powerplay
same goes for the 9600's.

Clocking down the frequency of the core will do very little for the battery life to be honest though. :(

yeah,
clocking it down will only a mild beneficial to prolong the battery, but not for GPU heat reduction!
