T43 video driver issue

Hi

When switching my Thinkpad back on after a standby (opening the lid again) I get an error message. Says something about a display driver not being able to respond. And then it asks me to reboot.

..and for some reason, my desktop wallpaper dissapears a few seconds after coming on when starting up windows. Very strange.

Any ideas?

Take a look in Event Viewer for clues. Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.
