Rapid restore PC

#1 Post by eirikur » Thu Jul 06, 2006 12:36 pm

Hi.

I have a problem. In Access IMB on my thinkpad T40 I used rapid restore PC. I chose "define and restor backups" and installed IBM rapid restor pc. The program created a 10 GB partion on my hard disc for backups. The hard disc is only 30 GB and I really need the 10 GB back. I would rather want to store my backups on an external hard drive.

Can anyone please tell me how I can get rid of the 10 GB rapid restore partion?

Thanks ,
Eiríkur :D

Do you have a xp cd? One option would be delete the partition and reinstall xp.

Yes! Boot from the cd and follow the on screen instructions. Then choose to delete the 10gb partition.

What the heck! delete all partitions and then create a new one and perform a deep format and reinstall the OS. :)

Delete ONLY all partitions when you have the recovery CDs.

Rapid Restore is the old version of Rescue & Recovery. Check the help file for back up deletion or search here:
