ALi USB2.0 CardBus installation problem

Hi there,

I am having difficulty installing an ALi USB2.0 CardBus into my IBM T20 running W98se.

I always get the useful message, "An installation support file could not be installed. Unexpected failure."

What does it mean and how do I install the card?

The card worked a few weeks ago, before I removed it, cleaned the HD and reinstalled W98SE. I also have an PCMCIA 2gb. HD that works in both slots, so the problem is not the slot.

The BIOS may be in need of up-dating, but it has no USB Support switch. I have the latest driver from the ALi web site and I still get the same message.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
