Greetings,
I need to be able to plug my CDRW/DVD drive into the USB port as the ultrabay is taken up with a second hard drive. Is that possible, or do I need to buy a seperate backpack drive?
Thanks!
Scott
Ultrabay to USB cable
What model Thinkpad?
Early T/A/X series can use the Portable Drive Bay 2000 (accepts Ultrabay 2000 media and storage devices), Part. No. 19K4480.
This can also be used on a T4X series machines, but requires a separate adapter to take the UltraBay Slim size optical drives.
Regards,
James
