Thinkpad Bluetooth not functioning correctly

#1 Post by DesolataX » Sun Jul 09, 2006 7:54 pm

Whenever I try to access My Bluetooth Places, nothing ever pops up. Whenever I try to click on the second bluetooth icon in my system trey (BT logo, but the inside part is red, when I hover over says "Bluetooth on (Computer Name)"). I can still sync my treo and connect to other computers, but when i try to connect my logitech headset, I cant get it to use the audio.
Anyone have any suggestions? Tech Support wasn't any help.

You probably have both Microsoft and Widcomm bluetooth stacks, thus the two icons in system tray. You only want one. Since the MS one doesn't support bluetooth headset profile, you will want to use the Widcomm one from IBM.

There are plenty posts in the past on solution for this..
