Create/buy replacement spring for PCMCIA door on T40?

I picked up a rough T40 as an upgrade for my Grandfather. The PCMCIA door was missing but I have spare. Unfortunately I dont see a replacement spring in any of the parts bags I have lying around from previous projects. Any thoughts on what might serve as a replacement?

Do you have any old floppy drives you don't need anymore? Maybe the spring that keeps the door of a floppy drive shut might work.

Thanks that might work, but I only have a couple of USB floppies that are still in use. I did have a thought though. Maybe a spring from a pen can be modified to work. Will try that first.
