Setting up New Hard Drive: System Preparation Tool????

#1 Post by wantathinkpad » Mon Jul 17, 2006 11:00 pm

My hard drive replaced after a drop. I got it back and when I booted it up I saw the lovely IBM world background which I had forgotten was on the original. However I am not sure if IBM does this but the system preparation tool 2.0 starts up and I have three options to prepare my computers hard disk for deliver to the end user. Which one do I choose?

I have:
Factory: to skip windows welcome or Mini-Setup and configure the installation as scripted in windows ini.

Audit: To reboot this computer and manually test the installation, click audit (available only in factory mode).

To prepare the computer for the end user, click Reseal.
