Need a small & padded sleeve for a 14' TP? What would you recommend?

Do a search for sleeve, you'll find plenty of recommendations from the past.

Try searching for: Tom Binh Brain Bag or ZeroShock

Case Logic makes a nice padded sleeve. They can be sourced at cyberguys.com

Zero-shock is king around here. Unfortunately they're hard to find and pretty expensive. It looks like both the 14 and 15" are out right now.

ebags sleeve

I picked up an inexpensive sleeve at ebags:

It's a slightly larger than my 14" T42 but I'm happy for $18.

Does it look like that sleeve would work for a T42 14" w/ 9cell battery? (another .75" or so for the width?)

ebags sleeve + 9 cell battery

#12 Post by roybishop » Sun Aug 15, 2004 6:09 pm

That should be fine. The extra space is at the front/rear of the T42 and I assume the 9 cell adds the 3/4" at the rear on the machine. The bag also allow 1.5" thickness and the T42 is on 1.0" so there's room for a few papers/manuals/whatever.

Check out the Brain Cell from Tom Bihn (http://www.tombihn.com)

It's a great little sleeve with hard protection against impact. Nice.
