Correct, in the Intel drivers, it's still 9.x for the 2xxx series cards. They share the same distribution, and use Intel ProSet software. But the driver is now 9.0.4.17. Thus far no real changes that I can see.
T43 (2687-DUU) - 1.86GHz, 1.5GB RAM, 100GB 5400 (non IBM-firmware Hitachi 5k100) HD, Fingerprint Scanner, 802.11abg/Bluetooth, ATI x300
I'm not seeing it. The latest driver is 9.0.4.17 .... not .13.GomJabbar wrote:I recently downloaded the latest driver from IBM/Lenovo for my 2200BG card. Notice the following from the readme file.

Also, I'm still having FN+F5 problems with any version of IBM/Intel's drivers... whether .13, 17, .08, anything. I even formatted my system in frustration to get it to work...
No libeay32.dll is anywhere, and Wireless/Bin is the first variable on the Environment path.. i sthere anything I'm missing?
The latest driver from IBM/Lenovo is 9.0.4.13. Intel may have a later driver on their site. Sometimes the drivers you may download from Intel's site won't be fully compatible with all the features of the ThinkPads.simms wrote:I'm not seeing it. The latest driver is 9.0.4.17 .... not .13.

I believe you need the Intel PROSet software installed for this to work. In addition, you probably need the Hotkey Driver from IBM/Lenovo. Check Software Installer to see if you have the Hotkey Driver installed.

Thanks, I finallly got it working. I used the utility that was posted in the other thread to clear out all the other drivers and followed those instructions to a T.
They turn off and on with Fn+F5, but I learned that I can't disable these programs via msconfig. While you can remove the Intel Programs, all 3 services must be running for Fn+F5 to work; otherwise the driverw ill still work, but you cannot control it via Fn+F5.
I used the 9.0.4.8 drivers along with the instructions.
