updating all drivers after HD restore - not what i expected

Hi

i got this laptop T43 for over a year now. During that time i updated it many times from the IBM site.
so i expected after doing a restore to factory install to have a long list of updates.
But i was surprised that when i did the search for new drives i got only 3 checked and all the rest are not checked.


Do i need to check them manually ?
