fingerprint control broken???

#1 Post by Chadi » Fri Aug 04, 2006 6:36 pm

I do not know why, but my finger print software constantly asks me (upon every reboot) if I want to update my password or use the same as windows password. I select to use set the same as current windows password, then it shows me the small white box / password prompt with old / new / confirm new password dialog box. I input the old, new, confirm new and hit ok. Absolutely nothing happens.

I have completely uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted. Same exact problem. I have no idea why.

I downloaded this one:

Please help!

Also how do I update my Intel 2200BG wireless driver?

I purchased a Belkin Pre-N router with the newer technology, so trying to get the wireless up to par as much as possible.

Where's the logo

Every dialogue box I have seen on my TP has a logo on it (usually a Thinkvantage red blob or something I recognise as part of the IBM/Lenovo package I purchased).

Your screen shot looks suspicious to me. Have you fully scanned your PC for malware? Just a thought.
