Key board/Screen display issues…. Pleases help….

Hi guys….
I have a slight problem…. Well it’s more of an annoyance. I have a T43 which I reformatted last week because I had a ton of spyware on it…. Everything is back to normal EXCEPT for one little problem. It is the keyboard functions and onscreen displays. You see the volume control buttons on the top left corner still work but they don’t show the onscreen green bars that I could see in the pre-format era… before if I was watching a DVD/movie I could use the arrow keys to adjust the volume…. That is not possible anymore… I have researched this problem but can’t find a solution anywhere…. What could it be???

Check thinkpad configuration, display and see if you have the option for On Screen Display, if not reinstall this driver,
