thinkpad t40 and usb 2.0

I can't seem to get USB 2.0 working on my thinkpad. I've tried in Windows and in Linux (Ubuntu) with no luck. Any help is appreciated!

Your T40 is under warranty? That is a issue that some users including me have encounter, the fix? motherboard replacement. :evil:

I can second cmarti's response. I've had two T40s do this after some period and the fix appears to be new systemboard.
