Hi all,
I'm trying to burn the i386 version of the most current Ubuntu daily live cd from:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/
The problem is that this iso is apparently oversized, and Nero isn't presenting me with any sort of overburn option. My machine is a t43 2668-75u with a MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-822S. Is it possible to burn the iso using this drive and if so, how?
Thanks,
can I overburn this image with MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-822S?

A small caveat, overburing is media dependent - if the CD has the enough spare space, it will work, if not, you get a coaster. Long story short, you might have to try a couple of times before you get a CD that will accept overburning but you should definitely be able to burn this CD. If you find that you can not over burn with the disks that you have, try another brand.dorin wrote:if the image is the 703mb one should be no pb at all! nero should ask you if you want to close it. i burned even 710mb with a matshita once...if its too much wont work to burn it anyway.
