Messenger bag suggestions for T42

#1 Post by Skywing » Tue Aug 17, 2004 6:01 pm

well, after much consideration and disapointment i am once again stuck without an idea of what bag to get, i REALLY want the spire endo but it is no longer available anywhere, ive looked at crumpler, timbuk2, booq, ogio, tom bihn and sfbags and none are yet to really grab my interest as the spire did, anyone here have any experience/input? (perhaps a spare spire endo for sale? )

I have a Dana Designs Ti that I couldn't be happier with. You can check them out at

The Timbuk2 Commute (laptop bag) won't fit a 15" T42 (the sleeve/padding area isn't "deep" enough to fit the palm-to-battery dimension on the laptop). Are you just using a standard Timbuk2 bag with a separate sleeve?

To the poster with the DanaDesign Ti - you have any pictures of the inside or measurements? I'm wondering if it will work for the 15-incher...

I will try and get some pictures up this afternoon, but my 15" fits right to the top. It certainly wouldn't fit completely with the 9-cell battery.
