Ibm T42 With Canadian Warranty - Questions

Hi

Well after having a lot of trouble with the ibm t40 I decided to give the t42 a try so i sold my old t40 and got a real good deal on atop of the line t42 on ebay.

The only thing is that it comes with a 3yrs canadian warranty and I live in usa.

So I was wondering how would this work do I still call the usa office or I need to contact the canadian office, also to get replacement parts in my case will be a keyboard would I have any problems in getting it. I just need the part itself I can change it my self.

The Canadian models come with 3yr standard warranty which is good all over the world (unless you have some kind of Helpware upgrade which is geo specific). You shouldn't have a problem getting any hardware issues resolved, but you'll be out of luck for software support and recovery discs.
