Can I use a t43 palmrest on a t42?

Hi another question can a palmrest made for t43 be use on a t42, cause I want to get a nice and clean one and the only palmrest I found so far for the t42 don't have a fingerprint reader but the t43 does

If you still have warranty, phone up IBM, ask them for a replacement (say the touchpad died or something) and get them to send it to you for you to install. Simple as that
