pc2-5300 FRU #40Y8403 for the T43?

I am offered a 1GB stick of pc2-5300 (FRU #40Y8403), Lenovo Branded Kingston Ram Part # M470T2953CZ3-CE6. Would it work on the T43, which uses PC2-4200 DDR2? If it will definitely work, I will go ahead buy it, but if it will only "probably" work, then I won't.

Although I have not personally tried it, there is no reason that it should not work. Same layout, just certified for even faster bus speed.

It is similar to using PC2700 memory in T40's, which call for PC2100. The memory can be run faster, but still works fine with a slower bus.
