#1 Post by Antioch » Fri Aug 20, 2004 1:11 pm

I cant seem to get a firm quote on what the DVDRW write speed is for the drive that comes with the T42s. 1 place said 8x, 1 said 2x, and 1 said 4x. So.. yea.. anyone know what it REALLY is? lol

Thanks.

yea, it's only 2X. That's kind of pointless since desktop DVD burners are up to 16X. Apple has one that does 4X.

Go with the Combo drive and when panasonic releases a faster dvd burner then you can upgrade to that at a much lower cost.
