If you plan to upgrade, it will just work fine. Like what I did first. But wanted to try a fresh/clean install of Windows Vista RC1, and when I did, some of the drivers, I have to install manually:
Audio
Winbound
Biometric
Just after a clean install of Vista RC1, go to device manager, and the one with ! drivers, manually update/install it. Just point it to C:\DRIVERS, it will find all the drivers it needs there. I guess some XP drivers worked in Vista.
As for the On-Screen, i download it from the website of lenovo, where we usually get our updates. I download Hotkey utility, its included there. If you have an ATI display adaptor, there's a BETA driver for Windows Vista RC1 available on ATI's page.
Regards, just send me a note should you need anymore help.
