Intel 2200 BG problem

#1 Post by dalee18 » Sun Aug 22, 2004 5:55 pm

Well, I've had my T42 3XU for about 3 weeks now. Within the last week I've begun experiencing problems with my wireless card when I turn on the machine. I get the disconnected icon in the system tray and it says that no wireless networks are available. If I go into the device manager and disable the card then re-enable it, all works well. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm not running any of the IBM wireless utilities, if that makes a difference. This is a clean install of windows xp. I also experience one BSOD that I believe was related to the card. TIA for the help.

I don't have problems with connectivities. However, I do believe that the driver for Intel 2200BG wireless connectivity is causing blue screen of death when using WPA. Check out the following URL:
