So i need another laptop besides my t42. i am debating which one to get but i can't think anymore. so voice me with your votes

given: i have a friend who works for ibm and i can get epp. but his last day is tomorrow (friday)

from epp: a r60 with 1.66 dual core with 256 ram and 60 gb hd but with bulky 15" xga and intel 950
t60: same as above, but it is a T series about 200 more expensive than R

from elsewhere: a t42, 1.7 ghz, 512 and 40 gb, 14" xga ati 7500
but the thing is the guy who is selling it do not know the bios password. you can boot to windows fine but if you try to enter bios the password prompt appears. i know that supervisor is not crackable but does this bios password pop up seems to be a user password (clearable with cmos battery removal) or a supervisor passowrd? price about 300 cheaper than R

if it was you which one will you pick?
any other suggestions or comments?

R60 or T60 seems fine to me.

just trying to put things into a relative price position so you guys can offer comments if requiring to know the price difference
