ibm update connector not working

got a brand new t42p, haven't done anything except get the network running (which it is) but the ibm update connector is not working. it gets stuck on 32% and then eventally says an error occured.

what could be wrong?

The app itself is broken.

I only get it to work ~10% of the time.

You are better off going to download the drivers from ibm.com and useing the software installer to perfrom the install

i updated to 6.1 and it's still "broken"

I have the same problem with it getting stuck at 32% so just go and DL the programs yourself.

It stinks doesn't it?
